I
know I need to write more, but i sometimes forget and i am very busy with school anyway. Check the notes on our Bolivian trip from the menu bar!.

2012
We went to Homestead on October 21 for the
Speedway bike ride again this year. Dad says this is definitely my last ride
on the tandem and next year I will be on our own. We continued to use our mantra
from last year, “We don’t care, we just pedal” with every step of the way. The 25 miles seemed forever. At the mid point I just said, this year feels easier than last year and then it was
not. The wind picked up and it was rough going back. It started very, very bad and I will let dad explain. Go ahead, dad:
We positioned the tandem at the head
of the pack and smack dad in the middle because I knew that once the peloton started on the race track, we would be left in
the dust. There is a tunnel on the way to the race track, a major dip and then up to the track. We dipped and on the way up
to the track, when I pedaled hard to make it up the tunnel, I yanked to rear wheel, derailler and all, right off the bike. We are at the head of the pack , in the middle of the tunnel and without a wheel. Everyone behind us suffered the domino effect, particularly those coming DOWN the
tunnel who could almost not stop. The cursing from behind and the crashes were
great. We finally managed to get the bike to the side, up the tunnel and out
of the way. Susana and David were waiting for us and were wondering what the commotion was all about.
Once all riders cleared, we walked
the bike back to the start, thinking our day was over. Our good friends from
Mack Cycle were able to realign the wheel and spindle and brakes and we were off. We
were not allowed on the track since some riders were now coming back out so we waited for Susana and David to make it out
of the tunnel and joined them.
Thanks, dad. I could not have said it better.
When
we first got there it was still dark and some insect bit my ankle and it was swollen a lot and had fever. I was unable to serve Mass that day and missed school on Monday. We
finished before Mom and David and got some free hats and water bottles and dad met some people from the MS bike ride and we
had fun doing that too.
May, 2012
David was named one of the three Altar
Servers of the year for St. Brendan. We went to a special ceremonial mass
and it was a beautiful ceremony After the ceremony
we were invited to a luncheon and the food was great. The burgers they gave us were excellent and we took some home
February-April, 2012
Alberto and Marisa bough a place in Miami
Beach and it is beautiful. YOu can see the city and the beach from the balcony because it is at the corner of the building
Any time Alberto and Marisa visit, we go to a lot of restaurants: Chili’s and
Tony Roma’s which are our favorite. They go with us to Mass at 6:00 every Sunday they are here.
David's Confirmation Ceremony happened
this month. It was great because he ended up in dad's class.
January 2012
{I took this from David} Four rabbits suddenly
appeared around the corner area by 15th street. Two were very, very white and two were dirty brown. They seemed like an apparition because they only came out in the mornings and late at night and they were
running lose. At first Chuck approached them in his stealth mode, jumped at them and they would jump away. Then
he stopped it knowing it was useless.
Right after Easter, the rabbits were not
as visible anymore and we wondered if they were an Easter apparition.
December 2011
Christmas was good but not as exciting as
others in the past. I suppose it is because David and I are getting old. We went to midnight Mass on the 24th and it was moving. Sean
and I were invited to be altar servers for the Mass
Mama and most uncles are danding in a Bolivian
group. It is a lot of fun but I get tired quickly watching them..
November, 2011
{I got this from David - I just did not know
how to write it} We got terrible news over the Thanksgiving weekend. Chuck was
diagnosed with cancer on his nose. The veterinarian suggested many options,
one was to surgically remove the nose button but mom and dad would have nothing to do with that process. The vet then suggested aggressive chemo therapy in a special cancer clinic for pets to remove the malignant
growth and mom and dad agreed to this. The treatment started soon and they were
weekly. There were supposed to be many side effects that would happen but Chuck
was not paying attention and had none of them. He was not evern the least bit taken aback by the treatments. He did not even lose any hair. He is a true champion. We prayed often for him and mom took him to every one of the weekly sessions. Finally on May 1st the vet told us that his cancer had receded and even
the nose itself was physically as it always had been. We could not be any happier
for Chuck.

MOST RECENT WRITINGS:
Summer/Fall
-2011
David
wrote about some of our friends who died. i do not want to do that so you can look on his page for the names and stuff.
6/1/11
My
science project was selected as "Principal's Choice". i also got 5 and 5 on the FCAT so I am very proud.
5/28 – 5/31
We wnet to Gainesville to visit Alex. We coudl not stay
longer because mom had to work on Monday. We were there from Friday night to Sunday night.
After breakfast Saturday morning, we visited Shelly who is
very sick. We went to Paynes Prairie, a 3 mile trail in the prairie itself. We saw gators, wild horses and turtles. One
of the horses appeared to be stuck in the mud but then got up and joined the others. We saw some bison way at a distance . David
and i went on our first long bike ride. I did 25 miles with dad on the tandem. I abused him a little, but he is tough
and can take it. I am proud of David. he and mom did 41 miles. Maybe I could have done it too but my butt hurt
so much it was awful. We went up the track to the highest point and then dropped down at 19 miles. that was exciing.
i had never gone that far or that fast before.
Later we went to the bat house to see the event of the bats leaving for dinner. We then gathered around
Shelly and dad led a prayer for her
On Sunday we went to Dustin’s lab and greenhouses to
see what he does. We then visited Alex’s school which was cool but
i did not want to be around any shool, even if it is where Alex works.
We went to the musema nd later had a grill before coming back to miami.
On Monday, we took mom to the airport.
I was finally able to bike on my
own and dad was so proud of me. Check the pictures out on the pictures page.
6/21/2011
See David's story for this day. He tells it better than i can do.
October, 2010
I was the student of the month. My picture is in the hallway
in school. I am a celebrity. ha ha.
We are also taking judo classes and that is exciting
August 24, 2010
We are back in school. I am now in 3rd grade and alone in
school because David started at Ponce Middle School which is far away and now we are not together anymore. This is sad. I
do not like it.
David and I are now altar servers at St. Brendan. The first two times it was very confusing but someone
was with us. The third time we were alone and had to do it. We did and the father was proud of us. So was our father.
May 1, 2010
This was our First Communion. We were very excited but I
think mom and dad were more. They woke me up very early to go to church and that made
me nervous.
Then we had the ceremony where there were so many people
few could sit.
Then we all went home and had a party to celebrate.
April 3, 2010
The four of us went to the Paul McCartney
concert. It was awesome. It was incredible. He sang many of my favorites I’m Looking Through You, Let it Be,
Day Tripper, Helter Skelter and Paperback Writer. I was really, really great. He left two times but came back again and
again and sang more.
1/27/10
See David's
page for what has happened lately. Many things have happened one after the other and he has a better explanation. I will write
more later.
12/29/09
I gave
dad a great birthday gift. I learned to ride a bike! Because I could not tire him, after 2-3 crash landings I took off. It
was not like David, though. David learned and never stopped. I stopped. I was tired and the sidewalk is hard.
10/15/09
Dad tells
me I am lazy because I do not write for this page enough. i guess he's right. We are having a blast with the Beatles Rock
Band game our friend Mario got us. WE got some extra Wii points and got Rubber Soul which is dad's favorite and now ours too.
I know all of the songs, who sings them and the harmonies. I am a better Ringo than any of the others, Papa is a better John
and George but has problems with Paul.
School
is a waste of time. i already know all they are going to teach me, except when papa asks me a question we have not learned
yet. Then he convinces me to go back to class each Monday. I get straight A's so I am not sure why he tells me to go back
anyway.
08/09
Summer
has been great. We went on another cruise with tio padrino and tia Elisa. It was about time. it has been a while.
We spent
some time at Jensen and papa made me bike every day. it was difficult and I gave up after the bridge over at the hills. As
soon as I gave up, we had a flat tire and that was not even worth it.
We saw
many manatees but at the beach, not at the station where they were supposed to be. We also went to a museum and saw many cool
things there.
06/09
We
have not written in a long, long time because we have been very busy with school. I had a great year. In gifted they gave
me many awards and in the other classes, more awards. i was Mr. Awards Guy. Then, school ended, I got excellent grades
and passed to second.
David
wrote more about what happened and how much fun we had with Alex when she visits and at the pool and with dad's bike.
10/13/08 - Mile Walk
We walked
a mile in Coral Gables yesterday with a lot of people including tio padrino, tia Elisa, Lizy and Brutis. It was a lot of fun
and I was not tired at all.
Tomorrow
I begin another class. i don't like it. I don't want to have four classes and teachers and I do not know anything about
God. Dad says i kow the prayers, a lot of bible stories and songs but i do not like it and I would not have signed up
for this if they had asked me.
Lucky I
have a large head were a lot of things can go.
8/20- SCHOOL STARTS.
it was
supposed to start on the 18th but there was a storm and we could not. we had a longer vacation, but i am still not happy.
Mom says i should be happy because i am now in the gifted program. I may be in gifted, but an unhappy gifted.
8/8/08
Mom is back from Bolivia., We went to Jensen Beach
for vacation. It was awesome. The beach was very clear and calm. I didi not want to go first but then it was great.
We saw fish everywhere. We saw a manatee swim right next to us. and it was very scarry. It was bigger
than dad.
We rode bikes on three days to the big bridge.
It was so much fun. I was holding for dear life! I made it on the baike behind dad every day but the last when we
stayed on the other side of the bridge. We spent a lot of time at the pool because
it is called Jensen Beach Pool.
We went home to celebrate my birthday on the
7th, then again on the 8th at Chilis' then again on Sunday with the family. The month is my birthday.
See "Diary During Mom';s
Trip" for things that happened during this time.
2/1/08
We went to Gainesville again to see our sister, Alex on Feb 1st. Alex bought us some rods to go fishing
ut I went walking with her in the woods instead. It was a lot of fun and I walked many miles.
David caught a fish in
Miami and I was very mad at him because I caught nothing.
1/27/08
Next time we go to Shark Valley, I want to
ride a bike like David, except the crash. He was a mess. It ws hard to pedal with Papa. He is too big and I gave up. We saw
many gators but it was too windy.
12/14/07
We went to Gainesville on December 14th
for Jossua’s graduation. We went to the museum to see a special Sharks exhibition.
5/30/07
I finished Pre-K!
It was fun but I will miss it. I will miss my friends and my teacher.
I was very happy
I got to read to Ms. Nuņez and she said I did a great job.
5/4/07
We went to visit
Alex and Dustin.
The trip was forever but when we got there, we had fun. Abuela went with us and we stayed at Jossua’s place which was
OK.
February 11th
We were at the
Stadium where the Super Bowl game was played. We had a lot of fun there and I won some prizes at some games.
February
10th
We went to Shark Valley and I
ride on a real bike behind dad. I am big and strong and I do not sleep on this bike because I fall. We went forever back and
forth until we had lunch.
January 28, 2007
We went to the
NFL Experience with David. It was fun. I was the best runner. I made a key thing at
Home Depot and mom took it home.
January 1, 2007
Last month we went to Disney World with tia Elisa and we had a lot of fun. We went up in one day and I was sleeping.
We took a lot of pictures. I got sick but now I am OK. We went to eat and then we went back to see all the park. That’s
it. I don’t want to remember anymore.
December 17, 2006 e-mail
we are having fun at tia padrino's house
love
seannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
The "n" continued because I have a lot of energy in my arm.
November 14, 2006
Alex and Dustin
visited us with the dogs last week. The dogs were fun with Chucky.
Coco, the bunny,
not my uncle, spent the weekend at home. Chucky and Coco were not very good friends because Chucky wanted to eat him.
David was very
sick but he is OK now. We are doing OK.
October 23,
2006
Dad says I
should write, but this is still difficult. I tell him I do not want to. I tell him what to write and he can do it. Now
he can walk with his bad foot.
I am ready
for Halloween. That is good. I will be Super Sean! I will get lots of candy.
We went to
a birthday party for my dad's friend. I fell asleep and got no cake. Mom says they gave me some but since I was sleeping,
dad ate it.
August 29,
2006
This was difficult.
A hurricane, rain, no classes, dad with a bad leg and cannot walk. This day needs to be over fast. I will go to sleep and
when I wake up it will be morning and another day. Maybe there will be changes. If there is no more storm do we go back to
school?
More later…..
August 15,
2006
Yesterday was
the first day of school. It was fun. I learned a lot. It was fun at lunch and then a nap, but I do not like naps. I have some
books and a new teacher. I am not sure about many things and maybe I will like school.
I prefer the
sharks at Sea World.
August 13, 2006
We went on vacation with mom, dad and David again. First
we went to dad's class. David says it's boring. David says where are the maps and paintings but dad said he had none. We went
to lunch at Chilis for my birthday and they sang to me and scared me! Then we went to Jensen for a long time to the beach and the and parks, and hills. I love the hills. Then went to Sea World and saw Shamu and lots of sharks, even in the restaurant.
We finally had a birthday party for me on Sunday and then got ready for my first day of school. I have everything mom says
i need to have. David says if I have problems to see him.
June 4, 2006
David is on vacation so we visited Alex
and Dustin. They live far, far away in Gainesville which is far, far away. I saw Superman movies on the way.
I
drove a tractor with Dustin. I saw a bunch, a bunch of dogs in Alex's animal clinic and one was huge, as big as King
Kong. I call it King Kong. I played with Alex's snake at her house. We went on a river with a raft. It was a long,
long ride, for five minutes. and we had a lot of fun. I jumped in to the water which was very very cold, I
call it ice. We went to a Garden and saw a bunch a bunch of plants. We went down to a hole. We had a lot
of fun with Alex and Dustin
May 15, 2006.
I told mom i wanted to go to school. But now i do not want to
go to pre-K. I do not want to because school now bothers me.
We did some things for mom for mother's day, but David just
plays the drums too loud.
March 27, 2006
I have to write about a manatee and band dad tells me. I don't want to. I don't like the band anymore. I like to
sing and the songs David tells me to sing but a bunch and bunch of people bother me.
I like the bike ride in Shark Valley because there are no sharks. Only a lots of gators eating fish.
Later I am going to ride a bike like David. He rides a lot. I will too, but later.
February 10, 2006
I cannot write and cannot tell my mom either so this page is
going to be very very difficult. I can't do it. it's over.
I hate this page.
